The Alternative Rally 2008

THE NEWBURY & DISTRICT SECTION INVITE YOU TO THE ALTERNATIVE JAMPOT RALLY AT STOCKCROSS, near NEWBURY, BERKSHIRE.

The Rally will open at 12 noon on Friday 3^rd and close at 2pm on the Sunday 5^th of October. There will be one run planned for the Saturday morning leaving the camp site at 11a.m. We have arranged for the village hall to be open as part of the rally site where a licensed bar will be in operation on the Friday and Saturday evening. There are two local pubs that will cater for meals on the Friday and Saturday evenings, The Rising Sun and The Lord Lyon. The Lord Lyon (can cater for 100 persons) will be serving breakfasts from 8am until 10pm at £5.50 per person. Both hostelries have asked that you book a table for evening meals. There will be on site toilets and the village hall has toilet & washing facilities.

PLEASE NOTE: OPEN FIRES WILL NOT BE PERMITTED. Motorcycles manufactured as AJS and Matchless will only be permitted. British bikes made before 1970 permitted only by prior arrangement. Caravans, Cars, trailers or camper vans will not be welcome. The camping area is flanked on one side by private homesteads; thus we ask you to keep exhaust noise to an absolute minimum. All participants will receive a badge.

Prices:

Two days stay will be £15.00.

One day stay will be   £10.00.

Day Visitor will be      £ 7.50.
